Although there are many route choices for road cyclists in the North East, there are some that we keep coming back to. Popular routes might lead to a favoured coffee stop, maximise time spent on nice quiet roads, or seek out a challenging climb. Whatever you’re looking for in a route, the chances are that Ythan CC has already been there.
Ythan has an account on the ridewithgps.com website, which has proven to have some decent mapping tools. Routes are easy to download to a PC and can be transferred from there to a GPS enabled cycling computer (i.e, Garmin Edge, Wahoo whatever, etc). If you’re looking to download a route via you’re phone, you’ll find that’s a premium feature that’s not available on a free account. Soz.
