From John Hunter

Sad news indeed, having been a club mate and co-organiser of an RR with Graham, i can echo Bobs comments. He was a quiet chap, but was out most tuesdays timing the TT and doing all the behind the scenes hard work.

Really sad news, Graham was one of the reasons behind me joining Ythan when I was just starting out on my coaching. He was really supportive and helped me with everything from organising sessions to securing funding towards the costs of the courses. He had great plans for the club which came to fruition with so many people helping the QL get Go-Ride status, something he always spoke of with a smile.

Please pass my condolences onto his family.

I’ve just heard from Neil Gerrard; Graham’s funeral is on Monday at 3.20 pm at the Aberdeen crematorium. The family have requested family flowers only but there will be a collection to be split between two of Graham’s great passions - Club Golf and the Ythan QL.

Sad to hear of Graham's passing. The Club will sorely miss him and his guidance.

I received a cheque from Graham's wife Carole this morning. The collection at the Crematorium raised £720. £360 will go to Ellon club Golf (the youth set up for golf in Ellon) and £360 went to Ythan QL.
