Sunday 23rd

Following last weekends numbers- are we expecting the same again this week?

The forecast is "Scottish winter" which will require different castelli clothing.

I'm recovering from a bit of a cold so will happily head off with a slower group for 30-40 miles.

Can't make it this week due to family commitments, but should be a guarantee for next week.

I'll be there to take on the wind...why not?

Did my own risk assessment today and decided that I didn't want to risk being blown over on the road. So I went along the railway line to Dyce and back. quite breezy.
May I remind you of that scene

We got 30 miles in. The fifteen out were tough in the wind. You had to have a bit of a lean on to keep up right.

The 15 home were pretty tough too as the hammer was put down!

We will laugh about it in the future, but at times today I felt like crying.

Thought I would wait for the wind to drop. Just been out, it hasn't.
