Hi all.

Just wondered if anyone was planning a Sunday run and what route you had planned. I quite fancy popping along if that would be ok with you guys?

Do you know what distance you think you will cover?

I should be out. Start time is 9am at the swimming pool. 3-4 hours riding or so

See you on Sunday

Wind coming from south so head that way out and with the wind on the way home.

I hope the weather improves before tomorrow. Te second half of today's ride wasn't much fun.

If this wind doesn't die down I might chicken out- riding in crappy conditions don't excite me much

Weather didn't improve. Fairly brutal on the way out but nice on the way back.

Sorry I bailed. Got up late and the outlook from the window didn't look too clever.

Where did you end up going?

In to Dyce over the hill to Hutton of fintray and back home via pittmedden. Just under 40 miles. Last couple of miles I thought my wheel bearing had gone as wheel was wobbling all over the place. Nursed it home and found that wheel is ok but chainstay on frame has snapped.

Ill be on the phone tomorrow trying to get a warranty replacement

Glad you made it home then. Makes your efforts on Sunday all the more impressive, 3 hrs with grinding rim on brakes and a broken frame......
I really enjoyed the ride, though the first hour at 10mph was a bit of a grind. Looked like I'd been doing cyclo-cross the amount of mud on my face. When the sun came out it was worth it.
