Ellon Academy

Chris, Peter and I took a group of 16 youngsters from Ellon Academy out yesterday. Good session - you should have seen the state of them at first. Greta guys though and eager to learn.

A bit of warm up - cornering and braking technique then out for a run along the railway line. Had them chain-ganging like a well oiled machine in the end.

good to get in with the local schools.

got a meeting next week about the track at the new academy. We have to sort out design details now. There is a part they want a speed bump in for the cars- I'm trying to get it moved but there may be a bit of street furniture on the track. thoughts?
May I remind you of that scene

Great stuff about the Elon circuit. Try to avoid street furniture/speed bumps or at least compromise on removable ones! Or ones that cyclists can go in the middle of if the bumps coincide with the vehicle wheels etc.
Zak suggests..well its late you don't want to know what he's rambling on about! Automatic Speed camera controlled retractable spikes or something........ ;)
