At this year’s UCI World Cup in Fort William young riders will be able to enter the Youth Mini Downhill Race! The race will take place on Saturday 4th June. Scottish Cycling believe this is a fantastic opportunity for young riders to put their downhill MTB skills to the test against the clock in front of an international audience.

Riders will have two timed runs on the course with the best/fastest time being used to decide who the winner is. All riders will follow the same course, with results for Boys and Girls in each of the 4 age categories below.

Age Categories
Under 10’s
Under 12’s
Under 14’s
Under 16’s
*The age category riders race in will be based on the riders age on the 1st January 2011

The event is open to riders aged 8-16years old*
Riders must be able to ride blue/red graded trails
