Ythan QL meeting

Postby Colin A » Thu Nov 04, 2010 8:17 pm

On Monday 8th November there will be a meeting to discuss the 2011 development plan for Ythan QL. Rudi from the SCU will be there to tell us how the SCU can help youth cycling in the area.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm at the Ellon community centre room CR2. (just ask at the reception).

Everyone is invited

Hope to be there but may have to cycle over. Where in Ellon is the Community Centre?

It's at the Swimming pool just beside where we meet for Sunday morning club runs. At the academy

Sorry, I am working and won't be there but please be assured I am really pleased that the club has put something back into the sport with encouraging some younger cyclists to compete and learn the ropes.

Hope it is a fruitful meeting and further progress can be made.

Thanks to everyone who came along to the meeting last night. I'll kep you informed about the progress and I think Rudi will pass the message on loud and clear.

So long as they listen
While there were no assurances of anything from Scottish Cycling Rudi at least seemed sympathetic to our situation and we were able to show that Ythan CC are putting in the work to develop a junior squad. Alas I think it is now our of our hands until we hear what decisions are made.
