Finzean 2 up

Many thanks to Shelley and Ian for a great event tonight. If they could have taken out that blooming hill it would have been perfect but thanks to Mike for waiting for me both times. My poor climbing probably cost us 2 mins and the chance to go under 40 mins. Amazing ride by Simon and Jonno from the Wheelers to take 1st place.

I second that, thanks to Ian and Shelley for putting this on, on a great circuit, I really like that circuit.

I really enjoy 2 up TT's - they are a hard workout if you pick a stronger partner!!

My lack of fitness cost Col a good placing in the event, really toiled up that hill to the AA box on the TT bike and was not fast enough on the rolling terrain immediately before it, that is simply a lack of fitness on my part - must try harder!!

A great evening, thanks to Ian and Shelley for a fun race. Now for my excuses. Chain came off on first hill due to the operator being a pillock. We should have had a practice lap and I would have known that the hill was that steep. First TT since operation (only real excuse). The sun was in my eyes...

Have to admit I thought we were holding a good steady pace once we found the rythym Andy. Particularly so given you've been ill for a while prior to the event. Sure I could have taken plenty off our time by better bike handling and confidence through a few of the corners. Next year we'll both be better ;)
