First races

Away from Aberdeen, or 'abroad' if you come from Tarves

Last year Gifford B Race was 5 laps of a 10 mile course. Very lumpy with a fast descent right afer the neutralised zone straight into a sharp left hand bend. Ideal conditions for a crash with everyone trying to be at the front! A very well organised race.

Thats me entered for the Corrieri Classic, nothing better than a flattering course to start the season.

Anyone else planning on being there?

I cant wait!

Probably - good health upon return from Mallorca permitting, I have come home with heavy colds in the past (air travel I suspect).

Never done an early season race down there, so we'll see how I go. Mrs D is planning a trip south for it also.

Andy - are you staying over the night before?

I thought it was an afternoon start, but SCU says 9am!!!

Ill probably stay in Stirling the night before to save getting up before I go to bed

I haven't decided if I'm coming down from Ellon or up from Edinburgh. Remember john that you will have to allow time to ater your breakfast. If you race too soon after food then some of the energy you could be putting into turning those cranks will be lost digesting your cocopops. ;)
