Tour Doon Hame

Chris Whittle and Veli did a great ride to finish in the main bunch in Stage 1 at the Tour Doon Hame. Not great news on the others, Phil was 38 mins down but finishing is an achievement. Ali McGills twitter is indicating that Ali, Liam and Bob B all crashed, possibly a broken collar bone for Bob. Hope they are all ok

Yep, Ali got some nasty road rash and a mangled bike. Bob has a broken collar bone and some bruised ribs. No word on Liam :(

Stonking ride from Chris Whittle, some big names in there to be on terms with - finished ahead of the new Track Ominium World Champ - Ed Clancy, RESPECT!!

Sorry to hear about Ali, Liam and especially Bob if he has broken bones, that's definitely nae good.

All the best to Bob and others for speedy recovery and good luck to those still in it.

Heard from Bob last night, his spirits are good and he's already looking forward to a return on the bike. Landed on his back which is sore, somehow broke his Collar bone, but his main concern is how he managed to get a big cut on his erse! Although he swears he never lost conciousness
