18th SEPTEMBER 2011

What is a Classified Time Trial?
A Classified Time Trial is ran on the same basis as a standard TT with riders set off at 1 minute intervals, but within the race, the riders are subdivided into Classes of 7-8 riders dependant on their entry times.

For Example
Class A riders with PB's of 20:00 – 21:59
Class B riders with PB's of 22:00 – 23:20
Class C riders with PB's of 23:21 – 24:40
Class D riders with PB's of 24:41 – 26:00
Class E riders with PB's of 26:01 – 27:30
Class F riders with PB's of over 27:30

Depending on the number of entries, I aim to have prizes for the first 3 riders in EACH Class

This gives EVERYONE a great chance to WIN A PRIZE (3 in 8), rather than the usual 5 or 6 fast guys. :)

This is a great introduction to 'Open' racing if you have not tried it before.

Tea, Coffee, Cakes, Sandwiches & good friendly craic will be provided afterwards.

Entries to be sent to Colin Sim, 1 New Mains of Ury, Stonehaven, AB39 3QA
Cheques payable to Colin Sim

Any questions about entering? You can contact me on 01569 766671 or colinsim at

entry now in the post Colin

I like classified's as I won my first envelope at one, sadly as my PB was down south, on a downhill course, with a tailwind both directions, I wont trouble the prize fund.
