Local races for local people.

presentation TT

Postby shelley » Thu Mar 01, 2012 2:39 pm

The first local time trial of the season is the Presentation TT on Sunday 25th March at 10am from Echt village hall. As with all open events, tea, coffee and cakes will be served to riders - after you've raced. The post race social will also involve the presentation of trophies and awards to the District champions from 2011.

Anyone wishing to enter should download a scottish cycling form from the DTCC website. Please don't use the BC one.
http://www.deeside.org/downloads.html

More details of the race are on the British Cycling website at
http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events ... Time-Trial

Fees, £10, £5 junior, £3 youth. Closing date 19th March.

I am looking for volunteers to act as marshals, timekeepers and a 'pusher-off'. Contact me on s dot farrar @ abdn dot ac dot uk

Novices are very welcome to take part. It's quite a rolling course, 18 miles long.

Shelley

If any of the Ythan new guys need a Ythan top to wear, get in touch and I'll see what I can find.

All home bakes welcome.
With such a big field of racers, Isobel, Susan and I will need some extra help.
