its not a time trial!! :)

I dont expect to finish with the first group, but plan is to ride as far as can and then drop back to another and repeat. Does that sound like an APR?

Last year I set off with people in the middle speed and they were too slow ( especially as most stopped for a picnic at the first feed stop.

As long as Im back in town for 11:30 ill be happy :)

How about meeting up early Saturday evening in Pitlochrey? The Old mill inn is fairly central and a reasonable size. Anybody else have any views on this?

And when you have finished fannying about with the Cyclist Touring Club get your entries in for the Ythan RR, it's only a third of the distance and you will all be as fit as butchers dogs after the Etape :D

Could any kind soul give me and my bike a lift to Pitlochry on Saturday? I am happy to contribute towards the costs. I could always drive myself, but my wife is driving down on Sunday morning, so I reckon it would be bit of a waste for me to take my car also... you can email me at raikkonen at btinternet dot com or text me on 07795984128. thanks.
