Great Inverurie Bike Ride 2010

As mentioned in the newsletter we will have our gazebo and some promotional stuff at the Kelands park at the start of the run from about 10.30. Anyone joining me and Robbie for a run round the Garioch countryside?

Not sure what the weathers foing to do but since I've done this ride in extreme heat, peeing rain and howling wind, nothing can put me off. Just as well Graham's setting up the gazebo for the post ride burgers to be consumed in the dry.

Oh yeah, If you are thinking of doing it and want to borrow an Ythan top (we need to keep up the marketing image 8-) , I have a couple that I can lend out for the day. Just give me a shout.

Not sure if I will be back from the 100 in time to take part but Liam would like to meet up with you.

I should be there from about 10-30. Probably be hanging about the gazebo (I hope) handing out membership forms for Ythan :)

Good show from folk today, it stayed dry, a good ride round the garioch countryside and one new member a few enquiries and kduos for the club. Only downside was the damage to the gazebo when the wind took it with Robbie hanging on for dear life. Hopefully GP can magic up a couple of new braces.

Agreed! A most enjoyable tour of the Garioch countryside in warm and pleasant sunshine. Strange how it felt like a headwind on both the outward and return legs ;)

Just checked the Evening Express and at least in the Aberdeen issue, we didn't appear (maybe in the Gordon issue?). Here's hoping that the Ythan posse pic makes it into the Inverurie squeak on Thursday.

Think I offended the photographer by asking him to email a photo to the Ellon Advertiser!

Had a look on www.eveningexpress.co.uk and if you go to the Gallery you can see it there in the GIBR section.

It looks like Scott is trying to headbutt me, I think he should be thrown out. Oh wait he hasn't quite joined yet....
