Off to a Sportive event? 'Racing' a charity event or just going somewhere nice with your bike?

Entered 100 mile sportive in glencoe on 20th april if anybody fancy it .No fuss events is the organisers did it last year good run bit behind with miles this year due to all this lovely weather

I'm no where near ready this year, in fact it would nearly kill me.
Enjoy it though and hope you get as good weather this year as we did last.

If you look at the route map you'll see that it starts in Glencoe, snakes around Loch Leven, Down Loch Lynn and finishes in Glencoe once more.
Some of the most scenic countryside in the whole of the UK. and places I'd always wanted to cycle through. (I'm typing this and getting tempted to enter it again). And last year they were filming SKYFALL in Glencoe at the time.
There's no really significant hills along the way, though the last 10 miles is a bit of a slog.
If you get good weather you'll love it.

Getting there takes around 5 hours, so the drive home is very, very tiring.

Sad as this sounds I was watching Skyfall, saw the roads & thought I've got to cycle there. :oops:
