Buchaille Mhor Sportive

Off to a Sportive event? 'Racing' a charity event or just going somewhere nice with your bike?

Buchaille Mhor Sportive

My offshore Rota conflicts with nearly every Sportive next year. Offshore for Etape Caledonia, Beallach Beag and Mor etc.

This one is very early on in the year , April 22nd.

But has anyone ever taken part in it ? If so what's it like ?
Anyone fancy taking part in next years event ?
I might need someone to drag me round.

I know the area fairly well and although the profile looks pretty tough, I don't remember it being anything like as steep as the Cairngorm Classic.

I've had a talk with the weather fairies, so can now guarantee it will be sunny somewhere on the day.

I'm now entered too, team name Ythan CC.
Now there's the small matter of training for it in snow, rain and howling gails.

This is the same day at the 'Ythan Hilly TT' so I will not be going to Glencoe! (as organiser for the Hilly) Bob
