Turbo music

Postby Colin A » Wed Oct 09, 2013 9:16 pm

Just off the turbo from a light tempo session so that means I can watch telly as I dont have to concentrate too hard on the session(series 1, part four of Game of Thrones since you asked). Anyway I digress.

Some of my other turbo sessions are a bit more brutal and I like to have some music blasting out. What tune makes you kick out a few extra Watts and pushes that heart rate a wee bit higher?

"I fought the law" by The Clash is my tune de jour to bust a gut to.
May I remind you of that scene

Yes, the Clash always good for an extra watt or two!

Always find that Firestarter and Breathe by The Prodigy are good for reducing me to a sweaty mess :o Quite a few tracks from The Datsuns ('MF from Hell' in particular) are on the play list as well. Just have to remember not to sing along to this one when using the gym in hotels

Now look guys, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to stamp my authority on this 'boys band fanzene'. It has to be the sound track to Edvard Munch's 'The Scream', otherwise known as the Nevermind Album by Nirvana. Parental guidance - that is guidance for parents, is never let your children hear this not even if they have grown up and left home. Every track except for the dark and brooding 'Polly' at number 6 breaks the sound barrier. Come as you are, Lithium, Territorial Pi$$ings, and Drain You require an ecg before listening to them to make sure you survive. Stay away requires a psychological assesment as well. Is that all I hear you ask - well no. Don't sit there spinning away when the album finishes thinking you're well -ard and immune to post traumatic stress disorder - get off your bike, burn whatever hardware you are listening to it on and run for your life before the hidden track screams into life, rips out your soul and disappears into the netherworld - enjoy
