Calling All Freakish Giants

Postby Andy D » Wed Aug 15, 2012 9:49 am

I have a work colleague who has a son (aged 16 but 6' 2" :o ) who has been inspired by Olympics and Wiggo etc to leave his MTB in the garage and have a go at road biking.

I have given him a shottie of a bike I had at my disposal to try out but I have told him he needs to use the clipless pedals which are fitted - to get the full 'experience'.

Does anyone have a spare pair of road shoes he could borrow, sized 12 (freak), preferrably with LOOK delta cleats fitted but that is not essesntial as I have cleats of that type I could fit, if that would be ok.

Please help him out, he might be the next George Hincapie, Magnus Bacsktedt, Eros Poli (remember him?) or Thor Hushovd......he might just be too enormous to be anything other than a big loon on a bike but you gotta let the kids try these things out, otherwise we could lose them to Rugby, X-Box or drinking cider in the park.

Cheers,
Andy D

Sean, that would be spot on if I could borrow them.

The pedals on the bike are LOOK delta but I have some cleats for them, thanks.
